AIC 50th Anniversary Conference 2023 (to be held 16 October 2023)
The Australian Institute of Criminology (AIC) is hosting the AIC 2023 conference on Monday 16 October 2023, commemorating 50 years since the establishment of the AIC. "The AIC 2023 conference provides an excellent opportunity for policy-makers, practitioners, and academics to come together to discuss contemporary issues impacting the crime and justice sector Australia," said AIC Deputy Director Dr Rick Brown. "We’re excited to hear from experts to address topics including cybercrime, online sexual exploitation of children, sexual violence, future of policing and corrections and climate change and crime."
This conference will be held in Canberra at the National Library of Australia, where in 1973 Attorney-General, Senator Murphy officially announced the opening of the AIC.
