Policing strategy model based on knowledge and intelligence, the goal of which is to precisely identify potential problems and
threats and to streamline the use of resources, which may be concentrated around “hot points” (hot spots policing), and on the
development of crime analyses tools. The term “intelligence” refers to selected information which is assessed and analysed in terms
of its usefulness for prevention and the resolution of criminal problems813.
