Integration is the bonding in social connections and groups. Integration can be understood as crime preventive measures, since with integration, a high level of social control and also a certain level of self control are linked. The opposite – disintegration – refers to a social trend of uncertainty due to a lack of recognition, and status discrimination, for example (but not only) in the educational and working world. Disorientation is considered a possible influence on the development of delinquency.
