Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice
The Institute of Criminology and Criminal Justice supports a vibrant postgraduate community and each year welcomes as many as 60 students onto its taught and research degree programmes. These students come from many different countries around the world and often include practitioners with considerable experience in the criminal justice field.
The Institute offers a range of taught Masters and Diplomas in Criminology and Criminal Justice as well as research degrees leading to a MPhil or PhD. Professor Ian O Donnell of University College Dublin is currently external assessor on the taught masters programmes.
The Institute offers four taught postgraduate programmes:

◦MSSc/LLM in Human Rights and Criminal Justice
◦Cross Border MSSc/LLM in Human Rights and Criminal Justice (NUI, Galway)
